On June 9th, students, investors, interested parties, university representatives, and the CHANCEN eG team met for the Annual General Meeting at CODE University in Berlin.

Members and guests of the CHANCEN eG’s Annual General Meeting walked past scaffolding and up a staircase, with evidence of ongoing construction, to the top floor of our partner university CODE. The long walk up to the fourth floor in the summery 28°C heat was rewarded with cool drinks and a rustic startup ambiance: although the new coworking building “Factory” next to Goerlitzer Park looks unfinished from the outside and is still partly under renovation, the premises of CODE were perfect for our Annual General Meeting. Creative brainstorming was easy in CODE’s modern startup environment, people got to know each other in cozy clusters of chairs, and the breaks flew by thanks to foosball tables and the culinary creations of Beets & Roots.

Thanks to its informal setting, the event was characterized by an open-minded atmosphere, active participation, and lively exchange. The focus of the meeting was the members of CHANCEN eG, who were offered workshops for self-reflection, opportunities to discuss with other community members, and the chance to actively shape the future development of the cooperative.
