The Rwandan Government acted swiftly and reduced social gatherings, closed schools and encouraged home office as soon as the first COVID-19 case was reported. READ

The current corona crisis affects us all. On various levels our lives are currently restricted. Most shops, restaurants, bars and other establishments have had to be closed to prevent a further spread of the virus. The effects this has on the various members of society become clear only gradually. READ

The CHANCEN eG team has been working from home for three weeks now and all interviews with applicants are only done online. Our intern Johanna has been with us for three weeks – she started her internship remotely. In the interview, Johanna and her predecessor Max tell us about Zoom parties and a feeling of togetherness, responsibility and some difficulties. READ

I am currently doing my Bachelor in International Relations at the Karlshochschule and I am very happy. The degree offers interesting content and is really fun. The fact that CHANCEN eG is financing my studies is a relieve for me. READ

I grew up in Great Britain and moved to Berlin last year for my Software Engineering studies at CODE University of Applied Sciences. Two weeks ago, in the middle of my second semester, CODE decided to close the campus and go completely remote due to the coronavirus. READ

I am a bachelor student for Software Engineering at CODE University of Applied Sciences and was in the middle of my fourth semester when Corona started to become a serious topic in Germany. I am proud to say that my university reacted very well to the current situation. READ
